The Montana Department of Transportation has sent out the following release.
The Montana Department of Transportation has completed the precautionary review and clean-up of I-90 and will open the roadway to the traveling public at 4:00 pm.
Concerns regarding avalanche danger prompted MDT to close I-90 from St. Regis to Idaho border until experts completed the review process and determined that the roadway was safe for the traveling public.
This area is still experiencing some rain and intermittent snow, travelers should be prepared for winter driving conditions and proceed with caution.
