Missing Ronan Horses
MISSOULA, Mont. -

The Lake County woman working to find out what happened to five missing, unbranded horses says investigators may steer their attention out of state, though more information is not available at this time. Victoria Templer believes the five horses were stolen. She and Kevin Templer say they had transported a dozen horses to leased land in the Ronan area.

They say they returned from a hunting trip to find their horses missing. The Templers put out some hay and searched the property, but found no gates had been opened, and the fence on the land was still in place.

Victoria Templer says none of her horses have ever been branded because she didn’t want to cause them pain, but she’s since changed her mind.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Lake County Sheriff’s Office at (406) 883-7279, or their local Crimestoppers.
