Jury choice set to resume in NY heiress will trial

A New York City trial over the $300 million estate of an heiress to a Gilded Age fortune is back on course for jury selection after being halted by a legal question.
A judge ruled on the issue Friday. She scheduled jury selection to resume Tuesday in the case surrounding Huguette (oo-GET') Clark's will.
Clark was 104 when she died in 2011. Her father made a fortune in Montana copper mining and founded Las Vegas.
An April 2005 will cut out her distant relatives. Another will, six weeks earlier, left them most of her money.
It's unclear whether a settlement might yet be reached.
Friday's ruling excludes an arts foundation from participating in the case. The charity would be established by Clark's disputed will.
Jury selection started, then stopped, Thursday.
