After deliberating for much of day on Thursday and Friday, the jury in the case of Diana Arnold decided she is guilty of attempting to kill her former tenant Henry McDunn.
The verdict was announced in the court room around 4 p.m. on Friday.
Diana Arnold is guilty of two felony charges -- Attempted Deliberate Homicide and Aggravated Burglary.
Diana Arnold is responsible for a bizarre shooting that left McDunn fighting for his life in late May of last year.
The 59-year-old woman broke into the McDunns' trailer and waited for him.
Henry came home and was walking through the front door when Arnold shot him in the back of the head and chest. McDunn survived, and fought back.
He continued to fight for his life, and managed to hold off Arnold until police arrived.
While investigating the scene, police found crumpled up newspaper and gallons of gas in the trailer -- evidence they say showed Arnold planned to burn it down.
Court papers say the McDunns used to rent an apartment from Arnold. She allegedly didn't return their security deposit when the couple moved out, and they filed a civil suit against her.
An sentencing hearing is set for October 7 and 8.
