MISSOULA, Mont. -

With at least six new breweries set to open this year, craft beer is exploding in Montana.

One Missoula woman wants people to know it's not just a man's game.

Corey Regini works at Missoula’s KettleHouse Brewery. She’s one of only two female brewers in the state of Montana.

Regini says women should be better represented, especially in a state with the second most breweries per capita.

That's why she's starting a local Pink Boots Society (PBS) chapter. With more than 1,000 members, PBS is dedicated empowering women to advance their careers in the beer industry.

The Northside KettleHouse is hosting a fundraiser for the Missoula PBS on Wednesday, June 11, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Proceeds from every pint sold will be donated to a PBS scholarship fund.
