Lolo fire perimeter map shows overnight progress protecting threatened homes

LOLO, Mont. -

The Lolo Creek Complex fire had some rain Friday morning, although not much.

Winds kicked up, but crews report they didn't hamper progress on the 9,500 acre fire.

The fire is 30% contained.

Firefighters conducted burnouts in strategic areas overnight to protect homes along Highway 12 and the Sleeman Gulch area.
