BOZEMAN, Mont. -

A Logan man faces a felony DUI charge after allegedly driving into a ditch on Frontage Road between Manhattan and Logan Wednesday night, and then trying to free his truck by strapping it to a reflector post.

Dwayne Dahl, 41, appeared in justice court Friday morning. He was reportedly too drunk to appear Thursday morning.

Police say they approached Dahl to offer help after finding him trying to free his vehicle on the side of the road.

Court documents say Dahl admitted to having been drinking, and failed field sobriety tests.

Judge Rick West set bail at $15,000.
