Man gets 15 years after chase in stolen car
A Kalispell man whose flight from police in a stolen car ended with a woman holding him at gunpoint has been sentenced to 15 years in prison.
The Daily Inter Lake reports (http://bit.ly/160ISLr ) 27-year-old Jordan Lynn Elliott called District Judge Ted Lympus "corrupt" on Tuesday after the judge sentenced him to 25 years in prison with 10 suspended for felony theft, assault with a weapon and assault on a police officer along with the revocation of two prior sentences in drug cases.
On Jan. 3, Elliott led police on a high-speed chase in a stolen car and ended up crashing into a police car in the parking lot of a gas station and fled.
A couple that had been listening to the chase on a police scanner held Elliott for officers.
