Man who drowned in Lake Elmo identified
Yellowstone County officials have released the name of a 54-year-old man who drowned at Lake Elmo on Saturday.
Sheriff's Lt. Bill Jones says Lynn Wood Okken of Billings died Saturday morning at the lake north of Billings.
Emergency crews were called to Lake Elmo State Park shortly before 9 a.m. Saturday after witnesses reported that a small raft had capsized, but they could not find the man who was in it.
Divers recovered Okken's body at 2:45 p.m. Saturday.
Okken was one of three people who drowned in south-central Montana over the weekend. A 41-year-old Billings man drowned in the Stillwater River near Columbus on Saturday, a day after a 1-year-old girl drowned in the same area.
