Missoula sheriff's deputy ropes steer near cemetery
MISSOULA, Mont. -

The team roping skills of a Missoula County sheriff's deputy came in handy at Sunset Memorial Gardens Tuesday evening.

Sheriff's deputies responded to three head of cattle at-large near the Mullan Road Cemetery and Funeral Home.

Deputy Jeremiah Petersen roped a 600-pound Angus steer, and tied it to the side of a pickup with a Spyder XS head rope.

The sheriff's department said it was "just another night shift" for Petersen.
