Missoula's indoor soccer arena grand opening is Saturday
MISSOULA, Mont. -

Missoula will unveil western Montana's first indoor soccer arena Saturday. Crews have been working overtime to get it done, and are putting on final touches.

The Valentine Community Center has both a soccer arena and a play area, with inflatables for little kids.

The nonprofit Clark Fork City Church leases the new facility to a for-profit business.

"We hope that people will come into our building more than just Sunday," said Associate Pastor Andrew Squires. "So we think this is serving our city by bringing business like this in."

"The business owner, Missoula Indoor Soccer Arena's Matt Fowler, said, "there's a lot of soccer players in Missoula. It continues to grow and then of course our climate...you need places to play inside."

The grand opening will be at the Valentine Community Center on Latimer Street, across from Pacific Steel. There will be youth and adult teams playing in exhibition games. Kids are welcome to play in between exhibitions.

The InflataPark will have slides, bouncy houses, and obstacle courses.

The grand opening starts at 10 a.m. and continues through 5 p.m.
