Officials trying to ID pedestrian struck in Butte
Officials in Butte-Silver Bow County are still trying to identify a man who was struck by a car and critically injured while crossing a street in Butte last week.
Undersheriff George Skuletich tells The Montana Standard the man didn't have an identification card and was alone at the time of Friday's accident. He says they haven't received any missing person's reports.
The man was crossing Harrison Avenue near the Butte Civic Center at about 8 p.m. Friday when he was struck by a car. He remains hospitalized in Great Falls in critical condition.
Officials did not release a physical description of the man.
