Oregon man dies in crash near Big Timber
A 74-year-old Oregon man died in a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 90 near Big Timber.
The Montana Highway Patrol says the man was eastbound at about 4 p.m. Wednesday when his sport utility vehicle drifted off the right side of the road and behind a guardrail. The driver was unable to stop or steer out of the hazard. The patrol says the SUV vaulted over a lower road and struck an embankment.
The man died at the scene. His name and hometown have not been released.
