BOZEMAN, Mont. -

A sliding cargo plane and poor weather conditions at the Salt Lake City International Airport is impacting travel in Montana.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration a Boeing 757 cargo plane landed safely but slid on the ground. No one was injured and no damage was done to the plane.

The Salt Lake airport made the decision to cancel or divert flights around 9:30 a.m. Thursday while crews worked to de-ice and sand the runways.

At Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport in Belgrade two arrivals and two departures from Salt Lake have been listed as cancelled.  NBC Montana contacted airport director Brian Sprenger.  Sprenger says aside from the cancellations to and from Salt Lake they only expect minor de-icing delays in Bozeman and those should clear up as the snow tapers off.

The Missoula International Airport only lists one Salt Lake City fight as cancelled.

On both airports' websites, flights to and from Salt Lake after the 4:30 p.m. are listed as "on time." Salt Lake City is one of the major air travel hubs for people flying in to and out of Montana
