Former Montana Governor Brian Schweitzer has said he doesn't want to run for Sen. Max Baucus' seat after Baucus retires, but that may be because he has his sights set higher.
NBC Montana has learned Schweitzer is making waves in the national press, putting his name on a list of people eyeing the White House.
In a new article from Real Clear Politics, Schweitzer is said to be "seriously considering" a Presidential bid, even if Hilary Clinton declares a run.
When asked about running a credible race against Clinton, he said he could envision himself in that role.
