LIVINGSTON, Mont. -

Search and rescue crews from multiple agencies are searching the George Lake area in Park County for man reported missing last week.

According to a news release from Park County, they received a tip Monday that the red Honda Fit belonging to Brad Spalding had been located at a trailhead.

Deputies with the sheriff's department and U.S. Forest Service responded and confirmed the car belonged to Spalding.

On Monday night authorities called in two teams of search dogs, a helicopter, crews from Livingston and Park County Rural Fire along with Gallatin County.

Today officials expanded the search and called up Sweet Grass County and the Civil Air Patrol to help out.

Right now about 40 people are involved in the operation.

The George Lake area is outside of Pine Creek, about 15 miles south of Livingston.

Anyone who may have seen Mr. Spalding or has any information is urged to call Detective Brian Green at 406-222-4181.
