Kalispell, Mont. -

U.S. Senator Jon Tester paid a visit to a local manufacturing business in the Flathead to learn what he could do to help grow small business.

Creative Sales in Columbia Falls designs, markets and manufactures injection-molded plastic products including the Big Bobber Floating Cooler. The company’s manufacturing facility uses automated machinery to mold parts for the bobbers that employees then assemble, pack, and ship.

In addition to the Big Bobber, Creative Sales also makes products like knife sharpeners, and pepper spray launchers from their new Pro-Defense brand.

Tester tells us about the potential he sees for technology and manufacturing in Montana. “Technology is one of the things that we can utilize in this state that really puts us on par with any other place in the country and you know we've got the electricity, we've got energy sources, and we've got a land base that folks can utilize,” he said.

Creative Sales has been making those Big Bobber coolers for about four years right here in the Flathead and they’ve been distributed all over the country.
