Smoky dawn skies over the Beaverhead Range, taken from my back deck on Saturday morning.
A large plume of smoke billows up, glowing pink in the last rays of the setting sun. This is a new fire, not yet on Inciweb. It is burning north east of Whitefish.

This photo depicts a hummingbird moth checking out the petunias on the front porch. This moth is sometimes confused with a hummingbird because of the similar colors and wing movement.
