HELENA, Mont. -

The state insurance commissioner says a new website will help Montanans navigate the complicated federal health care law.

Monica Lindeen said it is a place where people can get Montana-specific information, ask questions and find answers. The website is MontanaHealthAnswers.com.

Lindeen says everyone has to understand "Obamacare" is the law of the land whether you "love it or hate it."

She says the site answers questions dealing with consumer protections, federal tax credits and subsidies some people will use to buy insurance, and explains the "controversial" mandate to have health insurance.

The commissioner said the biggest changes start next year when insurance companies can no longer deny coverage. The federal marketplace touted as a place to by insurance is supposed to be running in two months.
