The University of Montana Homecoming Parade will get underway at 10 a.m. Saturday at the corner of Higgins and Broadway. Parade entries will line up on Broadway, so spectators should plan to be south of Broadway on Higgins for the best viewing.
Parade entries have new staging areas this year:
- All marching bands will line up on West Broadway (west of Higgins) and on Pine Street west of Higgins.
- All remaining entries will line up on East Broadway. Access East Broadway at Madison Street and enter according to your number. Entries numbered 10 to 64 line up from 8:15 to 8:45 a.m., entries numbered 65 to 123 line up from 8:45 to 9:15 a.m., and entries with animals will be directed to a side street for the safety and comfort of the animals.
- The drop-off location for parade participants (both children and adults) is at Washington and Spruce.
- For parade lineup numbers and map, visit http://www.grizalum.com/ and click on Parade Lineup Information.
When exiting the parade, entries numbered 10 to 71 will continue down University Avenue and exit on Helen Avenue. Those numbered 72-123 will exit the parade at Plymouth Street.
