Utah man killed on Interstate 84 in Idaho
Idaho State Police say a 32-year-old Utah man died after being hit by a semitrailer on Interstate 84 near Glenns Ferry in south-central Idaho.
Police say Jason Richmond of Midvale, Utah, was helping a tow truck operator remove his disabled 2012 Jeep Patriot from the Interstate at about 8:15 p.m. Saturday.
Police say 57-year-old Volodymyr Boyko of Portland, Ore., was traveling eastbound on the Interstate when he struck Richmond and his vehicle.
Richmond was pronounced dead at the scene.
Idaho State Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
