Missoula Aging Services is asking for your help. They are looking for volunteers to play the roles of victims and family members in an airport disaster drill next month at the Missoula International Airport.
The police department, rural and city fire, airport and hospitals will be involved. The state requires them to be trained on how to respond to an airplane crash.
“They look at it as though it's the real deal and make sure that they are ready so that our community can feel comfortable that no matter what happens, that there is an event that has prepared the hospitals and every other emergency responder that's available and needs to be there," said Senior Corps Volunteer Coordinator Vicky Bostick.
Organizers need a total of 80 volunteers and have about 25 so far.
The disaster drill will take place on Saturday, May 31.
