BOZEMAN, Mont. -

A woman convicted last year of killing her husband and his lover in Helena is suing the Gallatin County Detention Center.

Michelle Coller Gable is seeking $100,000 over claims that she was discriminated against due to disability before her conviction.

The 50-year-old Gable was sentenced to 200 years in prison for the 2011 shooting deaths of Joseph Gable and Sunday Cooley Bennett just days after Joseph Gable filed for divorce.

The Bozeman daily Chronicle reports (http://bit.ly/1nhmBFx ) Gable was in the Gallatin County jail for part of 2012.

Gable claims in the lawsuit filed Wednesday she was denied use of a wheelchair and forced to use a walker. She claims jailers retaliated against her complaints by taking away her mattress pad and other items.

County attorney Marty Lambert declined to comment.
