Woman dies in rollover crash near Billings
A 41-year-old Billings woman has died in a rollover crash east of Billings.
The Montana Highway Patrol says the woman's sport utility vehicle was westbound on Interstate 94 at about 3 p.m. Sunday when it drifted off the road. The woman overcorrected and the SUV rolled once on the interstate and went back off the side of the road.
Trooper Joseph Coughlin says it appears the woman was wearing a seat belt, but she was ejected from the vehicle as it rolled. She died at the scene. Her name has not been released.
The patrol is still investigating.
