MSU picks up first round bye, home game in FCS Playoffs
BOZEMAN, Mont. -

After winning a third consecutive Big Sky Conference Championship, the MSU Bobcats  received more good news: they'll be hosting a home playoff game on December 1st after a first round bye in the FCS Playoffs.

"We're a tough team, and I mean we've got tough players mentally and physically.  And going into playoffs I think we've got to be humble, we've got to prepare well.  I mean, because there are some good teams out there and so this is a confidence booster and it feels really good, but it's back to the film room, because we've got higher goals here," said senior, and Big Sky Co-Defensive Conference Player of the Week, Caleb Schreibeis.

The 10-1 Cats will keep a close eye on the competition this Saturday, as the Stony Brook Seawolves (9-2) host the Villanova Wildcats (8-3).  Whoever wins between those two will come to Bozeman Saturday, December 1st to take on the third seeded Bobcats with a 5 p.m. kickoff.

MSU has the chance to play up to a possible three home playoff games depending on who wins and loses in the playoffs.
