Just 10 months after being fired from the University of Montana. Former Griz head coach Robin Pflugrad has already found a new job, and he didn't even leave the Big Sky Conference.
Weber State Athletic Director Jerry Bovee announced today, via twitter, that Pflugrad will be joining the Wildcats football program as their offensive coordinator. Pflugrad has been coaching football for over 30 years but this will be the first time he's held the position of offensive coordinator.
Pflugrad was fired last March along with athletic director Jim O'Day amidst the wake of numerous sexual assault cases connected to the Grizzly football team.
Montana was Pflugrad's only stint as a head coach. The grizzlies went 18-7 during his tenure. During his last season in Missoula the Grizzlies advanced all the way to the national semifinals and Pflugrad was named the Big Sky Conference head coach of the year.
