The good news just keeps coming for the Montana State Bobcats football team.
Senior defensive end Brad Daly recorded a sack Saturday against North Dakota, his 9th this season, which is tops in the nation. Alongside that he also leads the FCS in tackles for a loss with 12 and has recorded a tackle for a loss in 13 straight games.
His big play has payed off as Daly was named to the Buck Buchanan watch list Tuesday morning, an award given to the top defensive player in the FCS.
Daly knows exactly it takes to win the award as last years recipient lined up next to Daly every game last season, Caleb Schreibeis.
Schreibeis was the first Montana State player to ever win the award recording 8 forced fumbles, 12.5 sacks and 15 tackles for a loss, numbers that Daly is closing in on after just 5 games.
Daly will look to keep his thirteen game tackle for a loss streak alive and add to his Buchanan chances on Saturday against Northern Arizona.
