Saturday night two former Montana athletes were honored as Little Sullivan Award Winners.

In the women's division, last years winner was Montana States Rachel Semansky.  This year UM basketball star Jordan Sullivan received that honor.

This past season Sullivan helped the Lady Griz record 23 wins and a conference record of 14-6.  Sullivan also helped the Lady Griz reach the W-NIT Tournament where the squad beat Washington State and San Diego.

Qualities looked for in nominations include athletic accomplishments, leadership, character, and sportsmanship. Finalists must also be from Montana.

Last year's winner in the male division was Montana States Caleb Schreibeis.  This year, former C.M.R. basketball star Josh Huestis was named the male award winner.

Huestis helped lead the Stanford men's basketball team to the sweet 16 this past season, including a win over no. 2 seed Kansas. Huestis was an All Pac-12 defensive team pick, and set the record for most blocked shots in school history.

Other finalists were Olympic moguls skier Brad Wilson of Butte, Olympic freestyle qualifier Maggie Voisin of Whitefish, former Montana linebacker Jordan Tripp, former Montana State receiver Tanner Bleskin, Montana State basketball player Jackie Elliott and Montana soccer player Maddey Frey.
