Griz grab first win of year 77-69 over SDSU

MISSOULA, Mont. -

The Montana men's basketball earned their first regular season victory of the year Thursday night at South Dakota State over the Jackrabbits 77-69.

Senior Kareem Jamar led the way with 23 points and 12 rebounds.  Keron DeShields pitched in 12 points and five boards.

The Griz had a hot night from the floor shooting 68.2 percent and 76.9 percent from downtown. 

This was the Grizzlies first victory this season and ended SDSU's 30 game win streak at home. The Jackrabbits fall to 0-3 on the season and the Griz go to 1-1.

The Griz will host San Fransisco at Dahlberg Arena next Friday November 22nd.
