Ashley Brumwell's halftime buzzer beater sparked the Lady Bobcats as they beat Carroll Friday night 50-36. That ended the Bobcats two game losing streak.

The Bobcats trailed 21-18 with 1.3 seconds left in the first half. Jackie Elliot threw the inbounds pass to Brumwell who spun around and nailed the long three as the buzzer sounded.

Though there were some fireworks, it wasn't the prettiest of games for either team as both squads shot under 50 percent in the game. MSU went a rough 20-50 from the floor and it was even worse for the Saints who went 12-45.

Freshman guard Lindsay Stockton led all scorers with 12 points and Jackie Elliot added 10. Carroll's Bailey Snelling led the Saints with 11.

The Bobcats won't see the court again until 2014, when they travel to Sacramento State on January 2nd.
