Three Bobcat players posted double-doubles Tuesday night as Montana State picked up a win in their first exhibition game of the year, 97-63 over the University of Great Falls.
Senior Ashley Brumwell led all scorers with 23 points. Junior Kalli Durham posted 14 points along with 12 rebounds and sophomore Jasmine Hommes added fourteen points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
The Bobcats got off to a hot start, going up 11-0 in the first few minutes of the game and all nine players posted at least 6 points on Tuesday.
MSU carried their momentum into halftime as Kalli Durham hit a three with less than 30 seconds to go in the half to send the Bobcats into the locker room with a 51-21 lead. The Bobcats shot 41 percent from the field and went 17-21 at the free throw line.
The lady Bobcats will play in their final exhibition game of the season Saturday when they host the University of Montana Western. Tip off for that game set for 2 p.m.
